Let the Prey Pray
You don’t always get the chance to understand what is hunting you.
Imagine a deer stepping into the depths of a forest, naive and curious. Before it can understand the danger, before it can run, before it can even pray for mercy, it is hunted.
Let the Prey Pray is born from this moment.
The forest becomes a metaphor for the unknown environments we enter as humans. New spaces, unfamiliar worlds, circumstances we never chose can turn us into prey before we even realise we are in danger.
The hunter does not wait for understanding. The prey is not granted time to prepare.
This collection explores the unsettling fragility of existence in unfamiliar territory: the fear of the unseen, and the helplessness of being caught in something beyond your control.
Because sometimes, you are hunted before you know you are prey. And sometimes, the prey never gets the chance to pray.
Eryahat — Fall / Winter 2026
Hunted before it knew.
Every unknown forest has its prey.
The collection’s central idea is not that the deer is weak. It is that it never had the opportunity to understand the danger before it became its victim.
